I am a creative in the ad industry, who’s probably worked on something you’ve come into contact with: an ad on tv, a campaign for a brand you use, and if you live in Chicago you’ve likely crossed paths with something I’ve worked on. But you won’t find those projects here. Instead you’ll see a more personal side of me expressed through my work and writing.

Welcome to my website. I have been quietly keeping a blog for several years now; it acts as a living journal. As endearing as that may sound, it is also a quiet protest and an experiment in maintaining a self-curated space on the internet—one where I share my life’s thoughts and in doing so, build an online archive documenting my time here.

 

Brief list of credentials and projects

Wendy has received a Clio, a Webby, and an ADC Award, and her work is part of the permanent collection of the Joan Flasch Artists’ Book Collections. She has also earned recognition from the Society of Typographic Arts, The One Club for Creativity, and the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS).

In 2025, Wendy received a DCASE IAP Grant for her project Specimens, a science memory card game currently in development.
