Artist Bio:

www.whereiswndy.com is a life-long project of a woman documenting her life on this earth. A series of blog posts and drawings capturing her essence, thoughts, discoveries and visions.
A continuation of a life-long discovery about herself, life and her on-going journey. A life led by the presences that appear in her images, homages to the unseen guidances at work and the multitude of occurrences and choices that guide the paths along the way.

Artist Statement:

I’m interested in using natural elements to develop a language for the unseen spaces in nature, space, the guiding hand of life and the mind’s eye. Most recently, I've developed a growing interest in science and its role in these spaces, the connection of trees in a forest, the properties of plants and flowers, the study of the moon cycles and celestial bodies, sacred geometry and math patterns, research around alternate spaces and universes.

It’s become important to keep certain things scientifically accurate in my paintings, such as star placements and astronomical events, but leave myself open to the spontaneity and guidance that occurs when painting my scenes. Occasionally I pull from metaphysical sources, using dreams and the nighttime to assist in developing the image.
